Terms and conditions

Practical terms for using the website and requesting or booking a Ram Thai performance.

Identity and contact

This website is managed by Ram Thai & Dance Team Belgium. For questions about bookings, terms or complaints, contact E-mail. Please mention the event date, location and name where relevant.

Scope

These terms apply to the public website, booking requests, offers and performances or cultural activities by Ram Thai. Different written agreements in an offer, confirmation or contract take priority for that specific booking.

Requests and offers

A website request is non-binding and is not yet a confirmed booking. A booking is confirmed only when Ram Thai accepts it in writing or when an offer is accepted in writing within its stated validity period. The offer states the main performance details, date or period, practical agreements, price factors and any payment or cancellation terms.

Prices and payment

Public pages do not show fixed prices. The final price depends on factors such as date, location, travel distance, duration, number of dancers, programme, preparation, costumes, technical needs and waiting time. The concrete price, advance payment, balance, taxes or extra costs are stated in the offer or confirmation.

Organiser responsibilities

The organiser provides correct information about date, address, timing, audience, contact person, stage or performance area, dressing room, sound system, access and safety rules. The organiser ensures a safe and respectful environment, enough space to dance and a screened dressing area when needed.

Changes and cancellation

Changes to date, timing, location or programme should be discussed as soon as possible. Cancellation or rescheduling follows the terms in the offer or written confirmation. Reasonable costs already incurred for preparation, reservation, travel or external arrangements may be charged where legally and contractually allowed.

Consumer withdrawal right

When a consumer concludes a distance contract, a statutory right of withdrawal may in principle apply. For leisure services performed on a specific date or within a specific period, that right can be legally excluded. If a withdrawal right applies, Ram Thai respects the legal information duties, periods and procedures. The concrete situation is clarified in the offer or confirmation.

Force majeure and safety

In case of force majeure, serious illness, safety risk, extreme weather, technical impossibility or circumstances beyond reasonable control, we look for a practical solution such as adapted timing, an alternative programme or a new date. Ram Thai may refuse or stop a performance when safety, dignity or health is at risk.

Liability

Ram Thai performs with care and professionalism. Ram Thai is not liable for indirect damage, consequential loss, incorrect organiser information, inadequate venue facilities, technical issues outside our control or third-party decisions, except where the law provides otherwise.

Images and promotion

Photos or videos of performances may only be used respectfully and according to the agreed arrangements. Commercial reuse of Ram Thai material, logos, text, photos or choreographic images requires prior permission. See also the copyright and image rights page.

Privacy

Personal data from requests, offers and communication is processed according to the privacy policy. We use it to follow up requests, organise performances, handle administration and keep the website secure.

Complaints and applicable law

If you have a complaint, contact E-mail first so we can look for a practical solution. Belgian law applies where legally permitted. Consumers always keep the protection of mandatory consumer law.
